About New Salem Baptist Church

Our Mission

Our mission at New Salem Baptist Church is to glorify God by introducing Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord to as many people as possible and develop them in Christian living using the most effective means to impact the world making a positive difference in this generation.

Our Vision

The vision of New Salem Baptist Church is to see every unchurched person given the opportunity to accept Jesus Christ and through him experience a life changing relationship.

Our Objectives

1. To bring people to a point where they experience a saving relationship with Jesus Christ and can feel a sense of care, belonging, and self-worth.
2. To make Jesus Christ known by meeting the needs of our congregation as well as the community using the Community Resource Center (Social Services), the Domestic Abuse Center, Senior Adult Housing and other church related ministries.
3. Develop a tutorial program to assist our children and youth in academic studies.
